London is home to the most magical Christmas celebrations… and how wonderful to enjoy the festive season in the comfort of your own borough? Here is a guide to some of the greatest festive activities just a short distance from our Kensington and Fulham residences…

1) It wouldn’t be Christmas in London without a trip to Winter Wonderland. Glide into the season on the UK’s largest open-air ice rink or perhaps enjoy the city’s skyline from 70 metres high on the world’s largest wheel! Cocktails can be enjoyed amongst the Apres-Ski theme in the Ice Bar as well as drinks and dancing in the Bavarian Village. With a variety of games, rides and cuisines, there is something for everyone to enjoy during this classic winter attraction open until 2nd January 2023.

2) The Luna Cinema at Kensington Palace Pavilion returns with an array of Christmas classics such as Elf, Home Alone and Love Actually – with high-definition screens and festive treats, it is an occasion for all ages! Click here to find the full schedule until December 23rd.

3) Kensington local The Churchill Arms provide a wonderful display all year round, making it one of the most popular pubs in London. Each year, they add even more sparkle with an abundance of fairy lights and approximately 90 Christmas trees, making it the perfect destination to get into the Christmas spirit with a glass of mulled wine.

4) Cadogan Hall hosts a concert of classic carols by candle light on 23rd December at 2.30pm & 7.30pm whilst staged in 18th century costume. Tickets range from £30-£50.

5) Take a detour from your Christmas shopping on King’s Road by visiting Santa’s Grotto with your family. Tickets are £15 with a donation of 50p going to the K&C Foundation. After spending a magical moment with Santa, each child will receive a gift from the elves' workshop.
