Riverstone is proud to announce that we have become a full Corporate Patron of Saatchi Gallery. Our support will help enable the Gallery to broaden access to contemporary art through an ambitious programme of exhibitions, community outreach and thought leadership.
In addition to supporting Saatchi Gallery, Riverstone will partner with a selection of London’s most unique and well-loved cultural assets, to help enrich the lives of our residents and to celebrate the invaluable contribution that they make towards life in the capital.
Riverstone will support the RHS Botanical Art & Photography Show 2022, in partnership with Saatchi Gallery, for the second year running.
Taking place annually, before the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the show features a selection of captivating drawings and photographs which beautifully document the plants around us and the beauty of our natural world.
Each year, the works on display compete to be awarded an RHS Medal – Gold, Silver Gilt, Silver or Bronze and a ‘best in show’ award - Best Botanical Painting, Best Botanical Artwork, Best Portfolio Photography Exhibit, Judges Special Award. Entries are judged by an expert panel and assessed based on their scientific accuracy, technical skill and aesthetic appeal.
Last year’s highlights included Pauleen Trim’s ‘Native British Deciduous Trees Featuring Galls’, Kimiko Miyahara’s ‘Endemic Plants of Japan’s Ogasawara Islands, A UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site’, Shelley Lawrence Kirkwood’s ‘I’ll Follow The Sun’ and Francesca Wilkinson’s ‘Full Circle – Studies of Cyclamen coum and Cyclamen hederifolium’.
Commenting on the announcement, Riverstone Marketing Director Shannan Hodgson, said:
“We are delighted to be aligning our brand with this internationally respected authority on contemporary art and a much-loved cultural institution at the heart of our community. We hope that our support also helps to maintain and develop the incredible social, educational and cultural resources of Saatchi Gallery for many generations yet to come.”
“The RHS Botanical Art & Photography Show is a highlight in London’s cultural calendar and as part of our support, we look forward to hosting a private event for our residents and friends at the Show. Guests will be able to view this stunning exhibition without the crowds and at their leisure, as a taster of the Riverstone lifestyle that we are carefully curating for our residents.
Both Riverstone Kensington and Riverstone Fulham are due to open in 2022.
